Bio

As of July 2023, Trevor Chintala has taken over the duties of being the Assistant Athletic Director/Game Management for Northeastern Junior College. Trevor graduated from Fleming High School in 2013 where he competed as a four-sport athlete in football, basketball, baseball and track. Trevor helped his football team win two state titles and one runner-up.  He was also a two time all-state running back and linebacker, and led the state of Colorado in rushing yards and touchdowns his senior year. During his high school career, Trevor helped his baseball team to one state title and two runners-up, and was an all-state player for two years.

Trevor has officiated high school football for one year, officiated high school basketball for 10 years, and has officiated NJCAA women’s basketball for one year. During his officiating time, he has been selected to work the state tournament twice and was given the opportunity to work the 3A girls state championship game in 2023 with his father Dana Chintala, and uncle Greg Chintala. Trevor takes great pride in being an official and loves being able to provide support and leadership to any new comers wanting to wear the stripes.

Before NJC, Trevor worked for Hibbett Sports for three years. He was an Assistant Manager for nine months in Chadron, Nebraska and then got promoted to be the store manager in Sterling, Colorado. Moving back to Sterling was ultimately what Trevor wanted to get back to and Hibbett Sports was a great opportunity for that. After Hibbett Sports, Trevor worked in construction for three years building houses, garages and shops in the Logan County and Phillips County area.

In Trevor’s free time, he tries to compete in all kinds of sports that he can. He plays golf as much as possible, competes in rec league softball and basketball and tries to get in the gym whenever he can. He also enjoys going to the lake during the summer, and spending as much time with his friends as possible.
