Otero Outlasts Eastern Wyoming

OJC Wins in Five Sets

Nov. 6, 2019, Sterling, Colo. — The first round matchup between the #2 North Seed, Eastern Wyoming College (EWC) and the #3 South Seed, the Otero Junior College (OJC) Rattlers did not disappoint as OJC defeated EWC in five sets to advance to tomorrow's quarter final round.  EWC will drop into the Contender's Bracket where they still have a chance to secure one of the two available District Championships.

 

Leading the way for OJC was Antia Vallecas who finished the contest with 29 kills and 21 digs.  Macie Magallon racked up 18 kilss while Brilane Manchego recored 62 assists and 23 digs.  They will face either Western Nebraska or Central Wyoming in tomorrow's match up.
