Western Wyoming Defeats McCook Community College

Western Wyoming advances to play Northeastern Junior College

Nov. 6, 2019, Sterling, Colo. — A confident Western Wyoming Community College (WWCC) Mustangs team didn't waste any time in showing why they are the #1 Seed from the North.  They handed McCook a loss in straight sets, 25-16, 25-20, 25-12. They will face Northeastern Junior College, the #2 South Seed at 4 pm tomorrow in the quarterfinals.

 

With the loss, McCook drops to the Contender's Bracket where they still have an opportunity to earn a District Championship and national tournament berth.   They will face Laramie County Community College at noon tomorrow, November 7.

 

Northeastern Junior College is Colorado's premier two-year residential college, part of the Colorado Community College System and NCA accredited. Northeastern offers a wide variety of degree and certificate programs, along with career and technical training and community classes. Northeastern is a Division I member of the National Junior College Athletic Association, part of the Region IX with 10 varsity athletic teams.
