Bio

Coach Harlie Valentine is in her first year as an assistant coach with the Northeastern Women’s Soccer team. 

Prior to her position at Northeastern, she served as a graduate assistant soccer coach for Lakeland University in Wisconsin.  During her time at Lakeland University, she also served as an assistant club coach for a few youth teams at Lakeshore United.  Before her role at Lakeland, she spent six years as an instructor and coach at Toledo Soccer and the Futsal Academy in California.  While in California, coach Valentine was also an assistant with the CDA Slammers FC that was established in 1994.

Harlie is a May 2019 graduate of Holy Names University in Oakland, California where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. While earning her degree, she was a student-athlete and played four years of soccer for the NCAA Division II Hawks. Following the completion of her Bachelor's degree, she went on to earn her Master’s degree in Leadership and Organizational Development with a concentration in Sport Leadership from Lakeland University in 2022.
