Northeastern Baseball's Bats Were On Fire, As They Won the Four Game Series Against Trinidad State College, Winning Game Four 19-3

Northeastern Baseball's dominant offense leads them to victory over Trinidad State College 19-3 in the last game of the four game road series. Tanner Peerey was named the DDC Player of the Game. Peerey went 3-6 at the plate, hitting two home runs, scoring three runs and driving in four runs in the contest. 

The Plainsmen got on the board first in the top of the second inning after Zach McVay hit a solo home run to left field. Northeastern flipped the game on it's head in the top of the fourth innings, scoring 8 runs on 9 hits to take the lead 9-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a home run to left field by Peerey that drove in three. The Plainsmen added to their lead with 5 runs in the top of the sixth inning thanks to home runs by Harrison Good and Peerey. Northeastern added 5 more runs in the top of the seventh inning on 5 hits. Lewis Coonts singled, scoring two runs, Yusei Uzawa homered to left field, scoring two runs and a passed ball scored one run. 

Cameron Ochoa started on the hill for Northeastern and ended up earning the win. Ochoa went 3.1 innings, giving up two earned runs on 5 hits, walking one batter and striking out three batters. Makoy Lucero threw 2.2 innings of relief, giving up one earned run on three hits, walking one batter and striking out three batters. Jose Gomez threw .2 innings, walking two batters and striking out one. CJ Gonzales threw .1 innings and struck out one batter. 

Northeastern amassed 20 hits in the contest. Aniel Del Orbe, Brayden Stufft, Uzawa, McVay and Hudson Hoy each collected multiple hits for the Plainsmen. Uzawa and Carson Sauter each stole multiple bases in the contest.
