Local Standout Signs Letter of Intent

Tre Lewis has signed his letter of intent to play for the Plainsmen Basketball team this upcoming season.  Lewis is a standout student-athlete from Merino, CO who excelled in numerous sports for the Rams.  He will help the Plainsmen continue their fast-paced tempo in order to fight for the Region IX title. 

Coach Trenkle is excited to have Lewis on the team.  He commented, "Tre is a strong and athletic guard who has the potential to lead others to win."  Lewis helped his team to a 13-7 record his Senior season  while averaging 16 points, 4 assists, and 8 rebounds per game.

Other accolades Lewis has earned was CHSAA All-State Honorable Mention his senior year.

"We are excited to see what Tre can do for us in the next couple of years." Added Trenkle.
