Northeastern Men Start The Season Off On The Road At Western Wyoming

NJC Men's Basketball came out on Friday and opened the season at Western Wyoming tournament, NJC opened with the Home team Western Wyoming and came out a little unsure of themselves. Western came out aggressive and pushed the tempo up in the game, at the half NJC found themselves down 10. NJC came out the second half and slowed the tempo of the game down and made Western really work hard to score. But in the end Western won 62-71, with about a minute to go in the game NJC cut it to 4 points and had the ball. A missed three pointer didn't find its mark and NJC had to foul to end the remaining minute. Jalen Foy finished with team high 13 points. Freshman Sterling native, Ryder McConnell had 10 points in his first college game.
