Northeastern Bounces Back Against Central Wyoming To Start The Season 1-1

NJC men's team came out the second day of the tournament playing a very tough Central Wyoming team who beat Utah State Eastern the night before by double digits. NJC knew that they were going to have to step it up in this game if they were going to leave Rocksprings with a win. Step it up they did, NJC at half was leading 22-36 and never looked back in the second half. They finished beating Central 68-49 and Ryan Payne paced the way with 20 points. Jalen Foy had 9 points and Ryder McConnell finished with 9 points. In the end great team defense and hitting a few shots made this possible for NJC.
