Golf team competes at McCook

The Northeastern Junior College golf team traveled to McCook this past Thursday and Friday to compete in the two-day tournament. The Plainsmen finished sixth and the Plainswomen finished third.

Zane Pfau tied for 24th, with a round of 175. Jared Clarkson tied for 30th, with a round of 184. Jeremiah Velez finished 35th, with a round of 194. Bryce Bivins finished 36th, with a round of 203. Cody Hurtado finished 37th, with a round of 210. Kaleb Anderson shot a 223, and finished 38th.

For the Plainswomen, Caitlyn Jacobs finished eighth, with a round of 223. Rachel Rael finished 10th, with a round of 265.

NJC will be back out on the course this Sunday and Monday at Riverton, Wyo.
