Northeastern Goalkeeper Signs On

Clement May is the third soccer athlete of the 2018 graduating class to sign on to continue his athletic and academic career. Clement has signed a National Letter of Intent with NAIA program University of Cumberlands located in Williamsburg, Kentucky. University of Cumberlands compete in the Mid-South Conference and finished the season with an 8-7-3 overall record.

University of Cumberlands Coach Chris LeFevre commented, "Clement is a great addition to our program. He has great experiences as a player in France and here in our collegiate system in America. He is ready to impact our team in a positive way. In speaking with him through this process, we could see that he has a great attitude and commitment to football to go along with his experiences and talent as a player and we are blessed to have a player like that joining us."

"Although Clement was only with us for a season, his impact was truly immense. He was a player that proved on multiple occasions the ability to win games on his own," added Northeastern's Head Coach David Groves.  "The experiences he brought with him from France were invaluable in getting us to the regional championship game and pushing the program on to new heights. This move is the perfect fit for Clement and he will be a success both on the field and in the classroom with the University of Cumberlands."
