Cordova and Woolsey Earn Honors

May 16, 2019, Sterling, Colo. — Two Plainswomen softball players earned postseason honors. Sophomore Gracie Cordova and freshman Danielle Woolsey each earned their spot on the All-Region IX team for their efforts this season. 

In her time as a Plainswoman, Cordova accumulated 144 hits, 121 RBI's, 35 home runs, a slugging percentage of .993, and a batting average of .493. Woolsey, in just one year, put up great stats. She accumulated 46 hits, 47 runs, 46 RBI's, 11 home runs, a slugging percentage of .649, and a batting average of .343. 

Cordova will be graduating this spring and is undecided on her future, and Woolsey will return to play for the Plainswomen in 2019.
