Northeastern Takes A Game 1 Win Over Luna Community College 4-2, Behind A Strong Performance From Reagan Fehringer
Northeastern was victorious on Friday in Game 1 against Luna Community College 4-2. The Plainswomen got on the board in the bottom of the third inning after Savannah Waldrop doubled, scoring one run, and Aubrey Wright singled, scoring one run. Reagan Fehringer earned the win for Northeastern. The righty surrendered four hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out six and walking two. Kaylee Eyl and Ayva McComas were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for the Plainswomen. Waldrop drove the middle of the lineup, leading Northeastern with two runs batted in.
