Northeastern Fell Behind Early, And Couldn't Manage To Fight Their Way Back, After Falling 13-7 In Game 2 On Friday Against Luna Community College

Lauren Lee hit two home runs and drove in four, but Northeastern lost to Luna Community College 13-7 on Friday. Lee homered in the fifth and seventh innings. Northeastern despite the loss out hit Luna ten to eight, Lee led the Plainswomen with three hits. Northeastern made the score 12-5 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Savannah Waldrop hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Lee homered to left field, scoring two runs. The Plainswomen scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning on a home run to right field by Lee. Teagan Kehm pitched four innings of relief for the Plainswomen, the righty allowed four hits and seven runs while, striking out none and walking six. Ryann Eurich took the loss for the Plainswomen. Th righty went three innings, allowing six runs (two earned) on four hits, striking out none and walking three. Ayva McComas collected two hits for Northeastern in four at bats. Northeastern stole three bases throughout the contest. They are back in action again tomorrow at 11:00 AM against Luna Community College.
