Northeastern Drops Game 1 Of The Four Game Series Against Otero College 14-5
Otero College defeated Northeastern 14-5 in Game 1 on Saturday 14-5. Northeastern tied the game in the top of third inning thanks to a doubly by Lauren Lee, and single by Savannah Waldrop. Reagan Fehringer led things off in the circle for the Plainswomen. The righty gave up 10 hits and 13 runs (six earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking none. Lee provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Northeastern with two runs batted in. The catcher went 1-2 on the day. Kaylee Eyl led Northeastern with two hits in three at bats.
