Northeastern Drops Game 2 Against Otero College 12-4
Northeastern fell to Otero College 12-4 in Game 2 on Saturday. Northeastern jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Lauren Lee grounded out, scoring one run, and Savannah Waldrop homered to left field, scoring two runs. Teagan Kehm stepped in the circle for the Plainswomen. The righty surrendered eight hits and six runs over two innings, striking out one and walking none. Waldrop provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Northeastern with two runs batted in. Isabella Bencivenga led the Plainswomen with three hits in three at bats.
