Future Plainswomen Play in CHSAA All-State Games

Three future NJC Plainswomen played in the Colorado High School Coaches Association All-State games over the weekend.  Kalyn Serrato is a 5'3 point guard from Fleming, Colorado.  Josi Kurtzer is a 5'11 forward from Haxtun, Colorado.  Taylor Knudson is a 5'11 forward from Sterling, Colorado.  The games were held at Adams State University in Alamosa on June 9-10 where the ladies were able to play their final high school basketball games.

Kalyn Serrato and Josi Kurtzer were selected to play on the White all star team and Taylor Knudson was selected to play on the Blue all star team.

After seeding for the playoff, both the Blue and White team made it to the championship game.  The championship game was a back and forth battle, but the Blue team came out victorious.

The Plainswomen are excited to have these three girls representing NJC next year.
