Postseason Honors

Plainswomen basketball players, Katie Diakhaby and Kiara McElroy both have earned postseason honors. 

Diakhaby was named to the Region IX South All Region Team.  This year she had played in 27 games and averaged a double-double with 17.8 points per game and 11.2 rebounds per game.  Her game high came against the Colorado Springs Ballers when she had 29 points and 12 rebounds. Diakhaby is originally from Auckland, New Zealand and will finish with her degree in May and graduate.

McElroy was named Region IX South All Defense.  This year as a starter. She played in 28 games and averaged 9.8 points per game and shot 34.3% from the three-point line.  Additionally, McElroy consistently held her defenders to under their season average in points, and was a key contributor in their streak after break.  McElroy is originally from Houston, TX and will finish wither her degree in May and graduate.
