NJC Splits Final Two Regular Season Games

NJC Splits Final Two Regular Season Games

The Northeastern Plainswomen finished up their regular season by splitting their last two games.  On Saturday afternoon, NJC hosted the Lamar Lopes for Hoops Homecoming which drew a nice home crowd for the girls to play in front of, so it was nice seeing them get a strong win in the outing.  Earlier in the week on Monday, NJC traveled to Scottsbluff to take on conference rival Western Nebraska who is ranked very high nationally.  Northeastern struggled in the game but had played them better than they did just a week ago at home.  NJC will host the Otero Rattlers in a regional play-in game on Sunday the 27th at 2pm.  Winner of that game will secure themselves a spot in the Region IX playoffs in order to fight for a spot at the national tournament.
