Davis Wins NJC Tournament and Places 2nd In Region IX

The Northeastern women's golf regular season has wrapped up for the 22-23 season.  NJC hosted the last regular season tournament for the women which resulted in great play from NJC freshman Brooklyn Davis. Davis won the tournament by 1-stroke for the top finish over the two days.  She shot 90 at Riverview Golf Course on the first day and 87 at Sky Ranch Golf Course on the second day.  Her two day total was 177.  As this was the end of the season, Brookyln ended up in second place overall in Region IX with Otero golfer Kelsie Villarreal taking 1st place.

NJC women's golf heads to compete in the Plains District Tournament starting on Monday, April 24th.  The two-day event takes place in Ankeny, Iowa for this year's tournament.  Annabelle Flores will join Davis at the tournament to compete for the Plainswomen.
