Bio

Joshua Burton joins the Northeastern Junior College Women’s Soccer program after two seasons at Cochise College as an assistant coach and six years of coaching soccer at the high school and club levels. Most recently, Burton helped Cochise College to two successful winning record seasons. At Sunnyside High School, he rebuilt the program and brought them to the postseason for the first time since 1997. In the club scene, he coached U19 girls at FC Sonora, before later becoming the club’s Vice President and College Coordinator. Coach Burton currently holds his USSF Grassroots License and a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a Sports Management Minor from the University of Arizona. He is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and grew up in Dallas, Texas.
