Plainswomen Sweep Opponents In Wyo-Braska Tournament

Torrington, Wyo...

The Plainswomen were on the road this past weekend to go compete in the Wyo-Braska Volleyball Tournament in Torrington.  After coming off of a pair of losses in the 38th Annual Sheila Worley Invitational Tournament the previous weekend at home, the ladies were looking for a rebound, and a rebound is indeed what they got.  With matches against Barton Community College, Western Wyoming College, Central Wyoming College and Eastern Wyoming College, the Plainswomen swept through the weekend with 4 straight wins, putting them at an even 8-8 overall record for the season.  This was the first time in Coach Mackenzie Chrisman's coaching career that she has led her team to a 4-0 weekend in tournament play.  NJC Volleyball heads to Nebraska on Tuesday, September 21st to battle North Platte Community College where the Plainswomen look to extend their winning streak to 5 games.
