Bio

David Brown came to Northeastern in the fall of 2019. Brown is a native of North Andover, MA where he attended North Andover High School. Throughout his high school wrestling career, he won 132 career matches, a D2 state wrestling title in 1998, and was also named league MVP.

Upon graduating high school, Brown attended Plymouth State College in Plymouth, NH. During his time as a Panther, he earned All-Conference New England honors 3x and was team captain. Brown graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education K-12 with minors in Health and Coaching.

Brown brings several years of college and high school coaching experience to Northeastern. He has been teaching and coaching at all levels in different states including coaching several state champions along with four NJCAA All-Americans. 

Brown brings his love of wrestling, experience, and enthusiasm to the Plainsman program. He now resides in Sterling with his dog Streager.
