Northeastern Student-Athletes Earn NJCAA Academic All-American Honors

July 2, 2019, Sterling, Colo. — The Northeastern Junior College (NJC) athletic programs had a great year not only in their respected field of play but in the classrooms as well. Twenty-four student-athletes earned a spot on the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Academic All-American list. To be nominated, student-athletes must have a 3.60-grade point average (GPA) or higher. Third Team All-Academic is holding a 3.60-3.79 GPA, Second Team is 3.80-3.99 GPA, and First Team is having a 4.0 GPA.

 

First team:

Kinley Coe- Volleyball

Natalie Fosdick- Softball

Brett Mattson- Golf

Ben Newton- Baseball

Jaxon Rosencranz- Baseball

Katlyn Serrato- Women's Basketball

Jodi Shea- Women's Soccer

 

Second Team:

Tashika Burrell- Women's Basketball

Callie Dickerson- Women's Basketball

Makenna Hittson- Volleyball

Taylor Knudson- Women's Basketball and Softball

Carlos Morales Carrera- Men's Soccer

Aleksandra Ratnikava- Women's Basketball

Madeline Rule- Softball

Cierra Williams- Volleyball
