Northeastern Baseball Earns A 4-1 Victory Over Southeast Community College

Northeastern Baseball earned the win over Southeast Community College 4-1 in game three of the four game road series. Ondrej Vank was named the DDC Player of the Contest. Vank started the game for the Plainsmen and ended up earning the win. Vank went 6 innings, giving up one earned run on three hits, walking two batters and striking out 6 batters. 

The Plainsmen were the first to get on the board in the second inning when Hudson Hoy singled, scoring one run. Max Valerio homered to left, scoring two runs in the top of the fourth inning. Brayden Stork earned the save for Northeastern. Stork threw one inning, giving up two hits and striking out two batters. Northeastern was able to obtain 9 hits in the contest. Tanner Peerey and Zach McVay were a force in the lineup together, as they each collected two hits in the contest. Valerio led the team with two runs batted in. McVay stole two bases.
