Plainsmen Split Past Two Games

Plainsmen Split Past Two Games

As conference play continues on for the Plainsmen, they find themselves at .500 in the conference with a 4-4 record.  At 8-12 overall this season, Northeastern needs to pick up the pace before the Region IX tournament rapidly approaches.  This past week NJC faced McCook Community College on the road and took the loss, but made a solid comeback winning a tight match as usual with North Platte CC.  Northeastern faces Otero College for the second time in the past month on Tuesday the 8th in La Junta and then makes the trip down to Trinidad to battle the Trojans on Friday the 11th.  Tip off for both games are slated for 7pm.  Both Otero and Trinidad are in 1st and 2nd place in the Region IX south, so the Plainsmen need to come up with a couple big wins to keep up in the conference.
