(Game Recap 11/22) Plainsmen vs. Air Force Prep = Loss 73-72
1st Half - Plainsmen went back and forth, came up short in 1st half. AFP leads at halftime 37-35.
2nd Half - Lot's of fouls, not a lot of momentum for NJC, came up short on last couple of possessions. AFP wins 73-72.
Breakdown: NJC showed up and played a tough game against an Air Force Prep team that hadn't taken a loss yet. Northeastern was able to out rebound Air Force Prep, but came up short when they needed the big baskets. Daxton Dayley came up huge off the bench and led the Plainsmen with 20 points. Starters Donta Dawson and Shaun Riley combined for 23 points. Kobe Greene chipped in 13 points. The Plainsmen had 15 turnovers compared to 10 for Air Force Prep. NJC shot 41% from the field which included a 38.5% from behind the arc.
