Golf Spring Season is Underway

NJC men and women's golf are back at it for the Spring as they played their 1st matches this past week.  Northeastern men's golf was 1 of 6 teams who came to compete in Lamar while the women's team was 1 of 3.  The Plainsmen took a 2nd place finish, only 9 strokes behind Eastern Wyoming College with a 580 two-day total score.  Matt Campbell tied for 1st place in the tournament with a two-day score of 137.  The Plainswomen took third place with a two-day score total of 932, in which Annabelle Flores was the top performer shooting a two-day score of 206, good enough for a 4th place finish.  Next up the golf team travels to La Junta to play in the Otero College tournament.  Tee times will start at 1pm on Thursday, March 31st and 9am on Friday, April 1st.
