Women's Golf Competes at Districts

Milford, Kan...

NJC women's golf played in the district tournament earlier this week in Milford, Kansas at the Rolling Meadows Golf Course.  The Plainswomen sent their two top golfers, Kylee Monaco and Annabelle Flores, to compete at the end of the year tournament and to represent Northeastern.  In a tournament filled with tons of talent, it was these ladies turn to showcase their skills in a large field of golfers.  Annabelle Flores shot a two-day total score of 196 (102-94), that put her at 22 over par for the tournament and a 37th place finish.  Kylee Monaco shot a two-day score of 224 (108-116), that put her at 44 over par for the tournament and a 48th place finish.  Coach Harbert was pleased how the ladies handled themselves in a tough field of golfers and looks forward to next season with the Plainswomen.
