The Northeastern wrestling squad battled the Western Colorado Mountaineers this past weekend at the Bank of Colorado Event Center. After having their previous two competitions cancelled, the Plainsmen were eager to get back onto the mat. This was the 1st home dual of the season for NJC and they will add another couple home matches against Otero College and Cloud County Community College coming up on Thursday, December 9th.

141 - Deegan Palmer wrestled a solid match with a few takedowns. Won on a major decision 17-9.
149 - Kross Pollaccia suffered a couple near falls and takedowns. Loss by pin fall 10-1.
157 - Riley Bornhoft suffered four near falls. Lost on a technical fall 16-0.
165 - Vince Beeson loss by pin fall 5-0.
174 - Cael Smith suffered three near falls. Lost on a technical fall 17-0.
184 - Tucker Naccarato made several escapes and created a near fall, won by decison 7-6.
197 - Kordell Culhane - was taken down early and loss by pin fall in the 1st period, 2-0.
285 - Austin Garcia was taken down early and loss by pin fall in the 1st period, 2-0.
