Northeastern Sends 7 To National Tournament

This past weekend Northeastern had a successful regional tournament taking 2nd place as a team and qualifying 7 individuals for the National Tournament. Wrestlers who qualified for Nationals include Braydon Mogle @125, Layne Shepherd @133, Deegan Palmer @141, Connor Davis @157, Cael Smith @165, Tucker Naccarato @174, and Nolan Bullethead @285. Coach Campbell and Coach Duncan both believe this is the best performance the team has put together this season thus far as many guys closed the gap on highly ranked opponents since their first meeting earlier this year. The Plainsmen have a lot of confidence and momentum heading into the National Tournament which takes place in Council Bluffs, Iowa, March 4th & 5th.
