Oct. 25, 2018, Sterling, Colo. – The Plainswomen volleyball team ended their regular season by defeating the McCook Indians and Eastern Wyoming Lancers. These two wins helped seed the women high for the Region IX tournament, which will help them in the end.
Their game against the McCook Indians was a tough battle, but the Plainswomen came away with the victory in three sets. Their next game against the Eastern Wyoming Lancers was another tough matchup, but Northeastern came away victorious once again. The Plainswomen finished their regular season with a 22-6 overall record, and are 13-4 in the conference.
Northeastern will travel to Cheyenne, Wyo. in their conquest to grab a Region IX title. The tournament will take place from Nov. 1-3.
