NJC Picks Up 15th Win on the Season

The Plainswomen faced off against Lamar Community College in Lamar, Colorado on Tuesday, October 11th. The Plainswomen were able to walk away with a strong and clean sweep against the Lopes. This win makes the Northeastern Volleyball Team 15-10 overall with a 5-1 conference record. The Plainswomen are set to face McCook Community College on Saturday, October 15th in McCook, NE.

Breakdown The Northeastern Plainswomen came to Lamar and meant business. NJC was able to come in on the Lopes home court and take away a clean sweep. The Plainswomen came out strong and stayed strong, even keeping the fighting Lopes under 15 points for the entire match. Sophomore Taylor Wiescamp led offensively with 9 kills. Freshman Annika Helf led in defense with 11 digs and freshman Grace Yoder was close behind with 10 digs of her own. Sophomore Allie Schumacher led with 17 assists.
