The Plainswomen went to battle with Western Nebraska Community College on Friday, October 21st in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The Plainswomen experienced a devastating three set sweep against the #5 ranked Cougars. The Plainswomen were unable to find their rhythm in the loud and packed gym and are now 6-3 in conference and are 16-12 overall. Northeastern is set to play Otero College on Friday, October 28th in Sterling, Colorado for their Pink Out Night.  Game time is slated for 6pm.

Breakdown: The Plainswomen played in the Cougars den over the weekend. With it being WNCC's Homecoming and Pink Out night, the Plainswomen also had to go up against a loud and crowded gym. However, the Plainswomen were unable to finish through and take a set or win from the #5 Nationally ranked Cougars. Even though NJC forced extra points in set 2, they were unable to find a win. Offensively the Plainswomen were led by freshman Taysa Conger in kills. Defensively, NJC was led by Grace Yoder with 12 digs and freshman Annika Helf close behind with 11. Allie Schumacher led with 14 assists with Emma Meyer close behind with 12.
