Why NJC Cheerleading: I have been in sports my entire life and after coming to college and taking a year off, I realized I needed to get back into them. My sisters have always done cheer and I’ve always loved the energy and excitement the sport brings so I decided to try out. I also wanted to have the opportunity to get more involved in my school and my community, and I found NJC cheer to be the best way to do so.

Personal: I was a competitive gymnast for ten years before I had to quit to move to college. Now I coach gymnastics at Country Gymnastics here in Sterling.
