NJC Golf Crowns Its First All-American

Sterling, Colo...

NJC men's golfer Jackson Rottschafer made program history this season by becoming the first All-American in the programs exsistence.  Jackson played in the NJCAA National Golf tournament on May 16-19th at the Sand Creek Station Golf Course located in Newton, Kansas.  Jackson shot a total of -1 under par during his four rounds played at Nationals.  His 287 (73-68-74-72) was good enough to take 15th Place, which gave him All-American 2nd Team honors.  Jackson won two different Region IX tournaments this Spring and is moving on to play at Fort Lewis in Durango, Coloado this Fall.
