Northeastern struggled to get the bats rolling early as they fall to USUE 11-6

Northeastern started the scoring off in the first inning as Savannah Waldrop singled, scoring one run. After falling back 3-1, the Plainswomen scored again in the top of the third after Waldrop hit a solo home run to center field to make it 3-2. The Plainswomen made the score 5-4 in the top of the fourth after Reagan Fehringer singled, scoring two runs, and Ayva McComas hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run. Northeastern scored one run in the top of the seventh on Lauren Lee solo home run before eventually falling 11-6. Fehringer took the loss for the Plainswomen after going for six innings, surrindering 11 runs (10 earned) on 17 hits, strking out none and walking one. Waldrop and Fehringer each collected two hits and both drove in two runs for the Plainswomen. Northeastern gathered two double plays during the game.
