Northeastern Takes Two Victories On The Road Against McCook Community College After Winning Game Two 6-3

Northeastern earns the win in game 2, with a score of 6-3 over McCook Community College. A single by Ryann Eurich put Northeastern on the board in the top of the first inning. In the top of the sixth inning, Northeastern brok the tie when Aubrey Wright singled, scoring one run. Then a single by Isabella Bencivenga followed to exten the lead to 4-2. Eurich earned the win for Northeastern, th righty gave up nine hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out three and walking six. The Plainswomen accumulated 11 hits in the game. Number nine hitter, Bencivegna, showed depth in the Northeastern lineup, by leading the team with three hits in three at bats. Eurich provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Northeastern with three RBIs. Wright collected two hits for NJC in four at bats. Northeastern were sure handed in the field and did not commit one error. Kaylee Eyl had the most chances with five. Northeastern will be back in action on Monday, March 18th against Northwest Kansas Techincal College at 1:00 and 3:00 PM.
