Plainswomen Move To 5-0 In Conference Play

Plainswomen Move To 5-0 In Conference Play

Northeastern volleyball has found its groove after another weekend sweep of their opponents.  The Plainswomen were on the road this past weekend as they faced Trinidad State College, Otero Junior College and Garden City Community College, two of which were conference games.  Not only does the NJC volleyball team move to 5-0 this season in conference play, but are also on a 5 game winning steak, the longest of the 21-22 regular season.  The ladies have played very well on the road this season with a 5-2 record and hope to get back to better than .500 at home when they face North Platte CC and Lamar CC on Friday (15th) and Saturday (16th) this week.  A win against Lamar on the 16th would solidify a 6th conference win for the Plainswomen on the season, and it's also a "pink" out match for Breast Cancer Awareness.  Due to weather related issues, Northeastern's game against Casper on the 12th has been cancelled.
