Northeastern Wraps Up Another Successful Volleyball Season

Hutchinson, Kan...

Northeastern Volleyball again had a very pleasing season for fans as they ended the regular season on a large winning streak that resulted in winning the Region IX tournament and securing a bid for a fourth consecutive time at the NJCAA National Tournament.  To top things off, head coach Mackenzie Chrisman won Region IX coach of the year while sophmore Jade Feather earned her 1,000th dig as a Plainswoman and sophmore Andie Anderson recorded her 1,000th assist as a Plainswoman.  Overall, it's great to see the success NJC had with a core of new talented freshmen who look to lead Northeastern next year.  Several players stepped into the role as a leader this season and we have a lot to look forward to.  NJC was able to win 1 of their 3 games in Hutchinson, which allowed them to finish in the top 12 of the nation.  This should bode well again for the coaches as they go into their recruiting season for the 22-23 season.
