Bio

Jill Yocom became the Bank of Colorado Event Center Assistant Manager in 2016 where she takes pride in serving the students of Northeastern Junior College, athletes, Coaches, staff as well as community members. Since beginning this role, she has orchestrated the upgrade to multiple areas in the Bank of Colorado Event Center including new flooring in the weight room and yoga studio, upgrade equipment including cross-over cable system, dumbbells, treadmills, cycles, rower and ellipticals. She is able to oversee staff as well as workstudies who all play a vital role in the Event Center.

Previously Jill was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for NJC Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, Soccer and Rodeo Teams. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) since 2012. 

Yocom is also a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) where she obtained her degree from Morgan Community College in 2000 with Magna Cum Laude distinction. She was able to have a 12 year career in a hospital setting prior to joining Northeastern.

Her Bachelors degree in Exercise & Sport Science was obtained from Colorado State University in 1995.

Her free time is enjoyed participating in outdoor sports with her family.
