Bio

Taylor joined the Northeastern volleyball coaching staff in June of 2022.  Her volleyball background comes as being a player at Northeastern as well as playing at a four year institution.

Coach Burns college playing career included two years at Northeastern Junior College.  During her freshman and sophomore years, she helped the Plainswomen volleyball team win the Region IX District A Championship in 2018 and the Region IX District B Championship in 2019. For 2019, she earned a spot on the All-Regional Team.  Following her first two years at Northeastern, Taylor then transfered onto Tabor College, a four-year university where she earned the honors of All-Third Team Conference player two years in a row.

Taylor is from Aurora, Colorado where she graduated from Smoky Hill High School in 2018. Taylor proceeded to attend Northeastern Junior College where she obtained an Associates of Science Degree.  She then attended Tabor College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Health and Human Performance with an emphasis in Strength and Conditioning.  On top of her Bachelor degree, she also received a Minor in Psychology.
