Josh Cote drove in five runs on two hits to lead the Plainsmen past Dawson 24-2. Cote doubled in the third inning, scoring three runs, and hit a home run to left field in the second inning, scoring two. The Plainsmen scored 16 runs in the third inning on their way to victory. Joel Franco drew a walk, scoring one run, Ryan Kucy singled, scoring one run, Jackson Doty drew a walk, scoring one run, Luke Byler drew a walk, scoring one run, James Nolan, drew a walk, scoring one run, Doty scored after tagging up, Franco drew a walk, scoring one run, Cote doubled, scoring three runs, Doty doubled, scoring three runs, Byler singled, socing one run, and an error scored one run. Cam Ochoa earned the win for Northeastern, he allowed three hits and one run over three innings, striking out four and walking one. James Harbison threw one inning of shutout ball, allowing zero hits and walking none. The Plainsmen tallied 10 hits in the game. Cote and Byler each collected two hits. The Plainsmen had patience at the plate, collecting 17 walks for the game. Doty and Franco led the team with three walks each. Franco and Amar Mahmood each stole multiple bases for the Plainsmen, the team stole 7 bases total on the day.
