The Plainsmen Pick up where they left off from saturday, as they continue their winning ways against Dawson Community College

Amar Mahmood drove in four runs on two hits to lead the Plainsmen to a 10-3 win over Dawson Community College in the first game of the Sunday double header. Mahmood hit a home run to left field in the sixth inning, scoring three runs and doubled in the second, scoring two runs. A home run by Josh Cote in the bottom of the first gave the Plainsmen their first lead of the day at 2-1. The Plainsmen extender their lead in the second inning thanks to RBI doubles by Mahmood and Ryan Kucy. The Plainsmen added one more run in the third after Luke Byler doubled. In the sixth innning, Northeastern added four more runs on Mahmood's home run and Byler doubled, scoring one run. Noah Soper earned the win after allowing four hits and one run over three innings, striking out six and walking none. Hayden Nerwin threw one inning of zero-run ball, while giving up no hits and striking out one batter. The Plainsmen totaled nine hits in the game, Kucy, Byler, and Mahmood each collected two hits for Northeastern.
