Northeastern Takes Game 1 Of The Double Header Against CSU Pueblo 3-2

It was a tough battle, but Northeastern came out on top 3-2 over CSU Pueblo. Edyn Barber started the game the Plainsmen and recorded six outs. The Plainsmen got on the board in the third inning after Josh Moore scored after tagging up on a sacrifice fly. James Harbison earned the win for Northeastern, the lefty gave up two hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out one and walking one. Barber led things off on the mound, the righty gave up zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out two and walking two. Sage Ferguson collected the save. Wynn Drewes and Moore each collected two hits for the Plainsmen. Joel Franco went 1-3 at the plate as the second baseman led the team with three RBIs. NJC didn't commit a single error, Moore had the most chances with 10.
