Northeastern Baseball Falls To Dawson Community College in Game Three of the Four Game Series

Northeastern Baseball drops game three to Dawson Community College 10-5. Brayden Stufft was named the DDC Player of the Contest. Stufft went 2-4 at the plate, hitting one single, one home run, driving in two runs and scoring two runs. 

The Plainsmen's bats didn't start rolling until the bottom of the seventh inning. Northeastern got the game to 10-5 in the bottom of the seventh when Tanner Peerey singled, scoring one run, Carson Sauter tripled, scoring one run, and Stufft homered to left field, scoring two runs. Evan Lamunyon took the loss for the Plainsmen. Lamunyon went three innings, giving up 6 runs (three earned) on four hits, walking one and striking out three. Jay Thomas came in for 2.1 innings of relief, giving up four runs (two earned) on three hits, walking one and striking out three. Korey Koehler finished the game off, pitching 1.2 innings of clean ball for Northeastern. 

Stufft drove the middle of the lineup, leading the Plainsmen with two runs batted in. Max Valerio and Hayden Swaen both collected two walks in the contest, the Plainsmen totalled 8 walks in the contest.
