Burwell Named All Region

Plainsman basketball player Marcus Burwell has been named to the Region IX South All Region Team.  Burwell has had quite a career as a Plainsman.  This year as a sophomore this year, he averaged 19.7 points per game and shot 50.9% from the field.  Other stats that stand out is his 39.5% from behind the three and 81.7% free throw shooting percentage.  His highest scoring game would come against conference opponent the North Platte Knights as he would have 34 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists.
