Game Recap – 2/11/2023 Plainsmen vs. Air Force Prep – AFP wins 95-87
Recap – NJC went down to Air Force Prep and played a tough Prep team. NJC fought hard and the score went back and fourth, but in the end, Air Force won 95-87. Top scorers were Shaun Riley with 12 points 5 rebounds, Kobe Greene with 10 Points, Donta Dawson with 15 points 3 rebounds, Daxton Dayley with 15 points 6 rebounds and Elijah Thomas with 11 points.
Game Recap – 2/14/2023 Plainsmen vs. WNCC – NJC wins 83-81
1st Half- NJC came out and battled rival Western Nebraska and led at the half 45-33. NJC shot the ball well and worked the ball inside.
2nd half – For most the second half, Northeastern commanded a double digit lead. Late in the second half, the Plainsmen got a little lax on defense and WNCC hit some late three's to rally within two. But NJC hit enough free throws to hold them off in the end for the 81-83 win.
Recap- Shaun Riley had a huge game with 25 points and 9 rebounds while Donta Dawson finished with 11 points 3 rebounds. NJC wins 83-81.
Game Recap – 2/17/2023 Plainsmen vs. McCook CC – McCook wins 79-63
1st half – NJC came out and struggled through the first half, they had a hard time connecting on any open shots and found themselves down big at the half 26-42.
2nd half- NJC came out, made a small run and cut it to 10. Then McCook never looked back cruising to a 79-63 win.
Recap – Keynion Clark scored 20 points and had 2 rebounds, Donta Dawson had 12 points 4 rebounds and Ryan Payne had 10 points 3 rebounds. NJC loses 63-79
