Golf team competes in Wyoming

The Northeastern Junior College golf team participated at a tournament in Wyoming this past Thursday and Friday. The Plainsmen finished sixth and the Plainswomen finished third.

Jeremiah Velez tied for 27th with a score of 162. Zane Pfau finished 31st with a score of 165. Jared Clarkson finished in a tie for 32 with a round of 166. Kaleb Anderson finished 38th with a 184. Bryce Bivins shot a 191 and finished 40th. Cody Hurtado finished 41st with a round of 195.

Caitlyn Jacobs tied for seventh with a round of 189. Rachel Rael finished 10th with a round of 224.

NJC's next tournament will be in McCook on Sept. 29 and 30.
