Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen defeated Luna Community College Rough Rider Varsity 18-0 on Thursday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Michaela Moorehouse induced a fly out from Angelica Angel to finish off the game. Lauren Lee led Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen to victory by driving in six runs. Lee went 3-for-4 at the plate. Lee drove in runs on a home run in the first and a home run in the fourth. Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen got on the board in the first inning when Rylyn Nelson homered on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.
