Northeastern Softball fell to #13 Trinity Valley on the road, thanks to a big third inning from TVC, which led to a 8-0 decision. Mackenzie Bowie was named the DDC Player of the Contest. Bowie went four innings, giving up 8 runs (three earned) on 9 hits, striking out 5 and walking one.

TVC was able to score 5 runs in the third inning, thanks to a grand slam. They then added on another three runs in the bottom of the fifth to obtain the 8 run rule. Isabelle Bencivenga went 1-2 at the plate to lead the Plainswomen in hits.
